There's plenty of fish around the Gustavus and Glacier Bay area for all to share, both freshwater and salt water.

Halibut can reach over three hundred pounds, while a twenty pounder is huge to some! Five species of Salmon are found around here too: Silver, Sockeye, Pink, Chum, and King. Crab and shrimp are also abundant, plus Dolly Vardin, Cutthroat trout and other fish.

Even for the non- fisher it is incredible to see the fish in the streams and learn of their spawning and life cycles.
