Ripple Cove Charters is delighted to introduce you to our returning pro fishing guide and captain.

Jim Tieso:

Jim has over 30 years of salt water fishing experience, with the last seven being in Alaska. This is Captain Jim's sixth season skippering out of Gustavus.

Jim's passion for fishing is over the top and evident in both his results and clientele return rate. Ripple Cove Charters is delighted to have him as part of our team.

Captain Jim is a people person with a real talent for catching fish. In our opinion, Jim is the, "hands-down best halibut and bottom fish fisherman in the fleet"! He is one heck of a salmon fisherman as well.

Jim's gear is always in meticulous condition and he comes to work ready to target the fish you're after, whether it be: halibut, salmon, or rockfish. We know you'll have a great time fishing with Captain Jim!
